Old obsession

OK, a new group and I am a newbie at LiveJournal.
I am 50 years old and obsessed with music for almost my entire life.
I play guitar, mandolin, mountain dulcimer, Native American flute, tin whistle, a little bit of keyboards and considering lessons since we just got a grand piano and I sing.
I am in a band that plays Renaissance Faires.
I also do solo singer/songwriter gigs and I occasionally have my daughters sit in with me. My older girl sings background vocals as does my youngest. However, my younger daughter also plays, violin, clarinet, recorder, tin whistle, fife and just about anything else she can get her hands on.
My wife and older daughter both write poetry and we do collaborate on songwriting as often as possible.
My younger brother plays drums and guitar, although, at 43 he's not all that young anymore either.
He and I were in a rock band together and we may still record some of our old stuff just to have it saved for posterity.
I welcome any discussion and conversations about music.
Here is a URL to three of my solo songs although one is a duet with my friend Brittany.
Brittany and I wrote the song together and it is on both of our CDs.
